We are now looking for an Application Developer to join our team in Attica and support the development, integration and evolution of critical software applications.

Your role in the team

You will be part of the team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications that support IPTO’s operational and business needs. Your work will contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable and high‑quality systems, while ensuring seamless integration across platforms and technologies.

What you will be working on

  • Developing and maintaining software applications.
  • Designing and integrating technological components.
  • Implementing user requirements into functional software solutions.
  • Developing prototypes to support design and validation processes.
  • Designing and executing test programs.
  • Ensuring proper interfacing with other applications.
  • Drafting technical documentation.
  • Conducting code reviews.
  • Managing installation, configuration and version control activities.
  • Participating in project team meetings.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Informatics or Computer Science.
  • Master’s Degree in fields related to Information Systems.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • 5 years of experience in tailor‑made software development projects.
  • 5 years of experience in data management projects.

Desired qualifications

  • Good knowledge of application development environments.
  • Good knowledge of web and multi‑tier application design and development.
  • Good knowledge of modelling tools (UML).
  • Good knowledge of DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, Gerrit).
  • Knowledge of responsive application development.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (RUP, Agile).
  • Knowledge of relational databases.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international/multicultural environment.
