The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) is committed to ensuring the reliable, efficient and sustainable transmission of electricity across Greece. As part of its ongoing growth and development, IPTO is seeking to recruit a Contract Management Officer (Mid-Level) to join its team in Athens.

Your Role in the Team

As a Contract Management Officer, you will support the effective administration and monitoring of contracts throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining contract documentation, monitoring contract performance, coordinating internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing, maintaining and updating contract files, including records, reports, documentation and related correspondence.
  • Drafting, reviewing and updating contractual documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitoring contract execution following award, including schedule tracking, contract amendments and financial follow-up.
  • Coordinating the timely preparation, distribution and response to inquiries, requests, contractor invoices and other contract-related correspondence.
  • Managing and organizing supporting documentation required for the proper administration and completion of contractual processes.
  • Preparing and reviewing payment files in cooperation with the relevant departments.
  • Monitoring contract-related financial data, including guarantees, invoices, certifications and supporting documentation.
  • Managing multiple priorities effectively while ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and internal regulations.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in procurement and/or contract management.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in public sector procurement procedures.
  • Knowledge of Law 4412/2016 regarding public procurement.
  • Experience in contract administration within large organizations or infrastructure projects.
