As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an Energy Metering Analyst to join our team in Athens.

Your Role

As an Energy Metering Analyst, you will play a key role in the analysis, elaboration, and certification of electricity metering data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established market procedures. You will contribute to the calculation of energy quantities for market participants and balancing market entities and support settlement processes through the delivery of reliable and certified data.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Analyzing and elaborating electricity metering data and performing validation checks to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and final certification.
  • Designing and implementing calculation methodologies and algorithms for determining energy quantities of balancing market participants and entities for settlement purposes.
  • Operating, configuring, and designing Metering Data Management Systems.
  • Providing certified metering data and energy quantities to balancing market participants, regulatory bodies, external stakeholders, and other authorized parties.
  • Monitoring data quality, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Contributing to the development, improvement, and optimization of metering data management and calculation processes.
  • Participating in the development of the regulatory framework related to metering management and electricity market operation.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with market rules, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a degree in a relevant Science discipline.
  • Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Professional experience in the energy sector will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in data analysis, processing, and management using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, R, and SQL will be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with large datasets.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to understand and work within regulatory and operational frameworks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
