The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) is committed to ensuring the reliable, efficient and sustainable transmission of electricity across Greece. As part of its ongoing growth and development, IPTO is seeking to recruit a Junior Contract Management Officer to join its team in Athens.

Your Role in the Team

As a Junior Contract Management Officer, you will support the administration and monitoring of contracts throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will contribute to the organization of contract documentation, monitoring of contract-related activities and coordination of administrative processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation, organization and maintenance of contract files and records.
  • Managing the filing and archiving of documents, reports, supporting documentation and related correspondence.
  • Collecting, reviewing and organizing contractual and administrative documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assisting in the preparation of payment documentation and supporting files.
  • Recording and monitoring key contract information, invoices, guarantees and related documentation.
  • Supporting the management of incoming and outgoing contract-related correspondence.
  • Collaborating with relevant departments to ensure the timely collection of required information and documents.
  • Assisting in the monitoring of pending actions, contractual obligations and deadlines.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, policies and departmental guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in procurement and/or contract management, administrative support, document management, financial administration or a related area.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in public sector procedures.
  • Familiarity with Law 4412/2016 regarding public procurement.
  • Exposure to contract administration, procurement or project support activities.

  • Ability to identify errors, omissions and inconsistencies in documentation.
