The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) promotes innovation aiming at the efficient and green electricity supply of the country by interconnecting every part of Greece, while remaining constantly devoted to its vision for the energy transformation of the country. In the context of its continuous development, it seeks to recruit a Junior Electrical Engineer to support a dynamic and growing team of professionals in HV transmission systems, in Attica.

Position Responsibilities

• Developing technical specifications and evaluating tender documentation for HVAC and HVDC transmission systems
• Following up deliverables from vendors ensuring compliance with the project technical specifications
• Conduct review of technical documentation for components of HV transmission systems
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and handling interfaces across project disciplines
• Site supervision on commissioning and erection activities

Candidate Profile

• Master degree in electrical engineering
• Experience with electrical design office or a construction company (1-3 years)
• Strong Communication skills and ability to handle interfaces in complex infrastructural projects
• Site experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English
