We are now looking for Electrical Engineers of Technological Education to join our team in Crete, supporting the operation, monitoring and control of critical infrastructure, including the AC/DC Converter of Damasta and HV/EHV Substations.

Your role in the team

You will be part of the team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the AC/DC Converter and the HV/EHV Substations in Crete. Your work will directly support the stability of the Transmission System, ensuring compliance with operational codes, safety rules and technical procedures, while collaborating closely with the Energy Control Centers.

What you will be working on

  • Monitoring, control and operation of the AC/DC Converter of Damasta.
  • Operation of the HMI System.
  • Control and implementation of Codes and Regulations related to the operation of HV & EHV Substations.
  • Preparation and authorization of switching operations on System assets.
  • Ability to transfer to HV & EHV Substations in case of failures or operational needs.
  • Implementation and observance of all safety rules and proper use of PPE, in accordance with safety legislation and best practices.
  • Collaboration with the Energy Control Centers.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Technological Education).
  • Very good command of English.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office.
  • License to practice the profession as a Class B Electrical Technologist by the date of recruitment.
  • Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates.

Desired qualifications

  • Knowledge of electricity systems load‑flow software.
  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Energy Studies.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Programming knowledge.
