As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an Asset Management Engineer to join our team in Attica.
Your role in the team
As an Asset Management Engineer, you will contribute to the effective management of IPTO’s transmission assets, ensuring the accuracy, consistency and traceability of technical and financial asset data. You will support asset capitalization processes, maintain asset records and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective lifecycle management of critical infrastructure.
What you will be working on
- Managing and monitoring the quality of technical and financial asset data related to the Hellenic Electricity Transmission System, with emphasis on data consistency, asset register reconciliation and traceability.
- Coordinating and monitoring the capitalization of transmission projects, particularly those involving primary electromechanical equipment.
- Reviewing, updating and maintaining technical asset information and location records across the transmission system.
- Coordinating the transfer of projects and assets from Transmission System Users to IPTO, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of asset data management processes and asset governance practices.
What we are looking for
- University degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in asset management, infrastructure management, utility networks or related technical fields.
- Good understanding of Asset Lifecycle Management principles, technical data management and asset registers.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret and review technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Experience with, or good knowledge of, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), ERP or similar information systems used in energy or industrial environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to process technical and financial data using MS Excel and other analysis tools.
- Very good command of the English language.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Asset Management, Engineering Management or a related field.
- Familiarity with international Asset Management standards, including ISO 55000.
- Experience with GIS platforms and geospatial asset management systems.
- Previous experience in a Transmission System Operator (TSO), Distribution System Operator (DSO), utility company or large industrial environment.
