The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) promotes innovation aiming at the efficient and green electricity supply of the country by interconnecting every part of Greece, while remaining constantly devoted to its vision for the energy transformation of the country. In the context of its continuous development, it seeks to recruit a Certified or Graduated Engineer to support its team in Attica.

Position Responsibilities

• Performing of H&S audits for Plants, Construction Sites, Office Premises
• Generating detailed Audit Reports and present H&S Audit Result
• Preparation of H&S working Instructions, Checklists and Procedures
• Conduction of Occupational Risk Assessment Studies
• Conduction of Health & Safety Plans and Folders
• Preparation, coordination and participation in H&S training
• Preparation, coordination and participation in Evacuation drills
• Monitoring Safety Officers’ performance and ensuring compliance with H&S legislation
• Providing practical H&S guidance and reporting
• Participation in advanced activities such transformation of company’s H&S Culture, HSMS procedures development, Subcontractors H&S Management, internal H&S trainings etc

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of proven working experience in the field of Occupational Health & Safety (Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Safety Consultant/Advisor etc)
• Polytechnic or University degree (preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering), however all Engineering majors can be accepted as well as University majors, as long as previous experience in the field of H&S is documented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
• Presentation skills
• Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD

Desired Qualifications

• Post graduate studies in QHSE
• NEBOSH or other familiar certification
