The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) is committed to supporting the country’s energy transition by developing a modern, reliable and sustainable electricity transmission system. As part of its continuous growth, IPTO is seeking to recruit an In‑House Lawyer specializing in environmental, urban planning and zoning law to join its Legal Department.

Your role in the team

You will provide legal support across the company, ensuring compliance with environmental and urban planning legislation throughout all stages of project development. Your contribution will be essential in safeguarding the company’s legal interests, both preventively and through representation before judicial and administrative authorities.

What you will be working on

• Providing legal advice and support to the company’s Departments.
• Monitoring and offering legal assistance throughout all stages of project licensing and development.
• Reviewing and drafting corporate legal documents.
• Representing the company in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.

What we are looking for

• License to practice law.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in environmental, urban planning and zoning law.
• A postgraduate degree in Public Law or Energy Law will be considered an asset.
