As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (High Voltage Equipment) to join our team in Attica.
Your Role
As a member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of major HVDC Transmission Projects, supporting the design, construction, and commissioning of future high-voltage transmission systems. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of critical energy infrastructure projects.
What You Will Be Working On
- Developing technical specifications and evaluating tender documentation for HVAC and HVDC transmission systems.
- Coordinating with high-voltage equipment vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, project schedules, and budgets.
- Monitoring and reviewing technical deliverables submitted by suppliers and contractors.
- Reviewing technical documentation for key HV transmission system components, including HVDC converters, power transformers, AIS/GIS switchgear, and related equipment.
- Managing technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and design through construction and commissioning.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and coordinating technical interfaces across multiple project disciplines.
- Conducting site visits to monitor and supervise construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in HV and MV substation equipment and/or energy infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of transmission system technologies and design principles.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate interfaces in complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience in HVDC transmission systems, substations, or large-scale energy projects.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and strong teamwork orientation.
