Through innovation, reliability and the continuous development of the national electricity transmission system, we actively support the country's energy transition. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking two (2) Energy Policy Analysts to join the International Relations Division at our offices in Athens (94 Vasilissis Sofias Avenue).

 

Your role in the team

As an Energy Policy Analyst, you will contribute to the monitoring and analysis of developments across the European, regional and national energy landscape. You will support the formulation of strategic positions on key energy policy matters and represent IPTO in international forums and industry initiatives that shape the future of the electricity sector.

 

What you will be working on

  • Monitoring and analyzing developments in European, regional and Greek energy policy, with a focus on electricity markets, transmission networks, energy security, and the resilience of critical infrastructure.
  • Preparing policy papers, analytical reports and position documents on energy-related topics.
  • Participating in working groups of ENTSO-E, as well as other international and regional organizations and business associations in which IPTO is represented.
  • Supporting and participating in international meetings, representations and missions of the International Relations Division.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations or European Studies. Consideration will be given to candidates holding a degree in Energy Policy or Energy Management.
  • Master's Degree in a field relevant to the above disciplines. Additional consideration will be given to postgraduate qualifications in Energy Policy or Energy Management.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a second or third foreign language will be considered an asset.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
