Protection & Control Engineer
IPTO Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a dynamic and growing team of professionals in HVDC transmission systems.
You will join a highly skilled team in the new HDDC department, where together with other colleagues you will be responsible for the design and construction of the future HVDC transmission systems.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Design and review protection and control schemes for Substations and power networks.
- Conduct review of technical documentation for protection settings, coordination studies and relay configuration.
- Following up deliverables from vendors ensuring compliance with the project technical specifications
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and handling interfaces across project disciplines.
- Site supervision on commissioning and erection activities
Position’s qualifications:
- Master degree in electrical engineering
- Experience in protection and control engineering and good knowlenge of protection relays, SCADA and Control Systems.
- Strong Communication skills and ability to handle interfaces in complex infrastructural projects
- Site experience
- Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
- Fluency in written and spoken English
