We are now looking for a Research Engineer to join our team in Attica and support cutting‑edge research and development activities.

Your role in the team

As a Research Engineer, you will contribute to the development of advanced tools, models and applications that support the evolution of modern energy systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, participate in research projects and help translate innovative ideas into practical solutions.

What you will be working on

• Development of forecasting and optimization algorithms for energy systems using AI/ML tools • Analysis and processing of energy data using Python, Matlab, TensorFlow, GAMS/pyomo

• Participation in the drafting of technical deliverables and scientific publications

 • Contribution to the design and implementation of pilot applications and use cases in research projects

• Support in the technical and management implementation of co‑funded Horizon Europe projects

 • Participation in partner meetings, conferences, educational activities and other project‑related events abroad

What we are looking for

• Strong academic background in engineering, computer science or related fields

• Experience in developing forecasting and optimization algorithms for energy systems

• Hands‑on experience with Python, Matlab, TensorFlow, GAMS/pyomo

• Familiarity with research methodologies and preparation of technical/scientific documentation • Ability to work collaboratively in research environments and manage project‑related tasks

• Willingness and ability to travel abroad for project activities

• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills and interest in innovation
