IPTO - Senior Maintenance Advisor | Kryoneri (Ad Code: ESSM01)

We are now seeking a highly motivated Senior Maintenance Advisor to join the Transmission System Maintenance Division — a role with direct impact on the operational excellence, innovation and strategic evolution of one of the most critical functions of the national energy infrastructure.

Your role in the team

As Special Advisor to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance and commissioning activities, and supporting the Division’s transition toward digital, data‑driven maintenance practices. You will act as a key link between technical teams, management and external partners, contributing to decision‑making processes and the successful delivery of high‑impact projects.

What you will be working on

• Supporting the Director in organizing and monitoring the progress of Division‑wide activities. • Managing and structuring information related to the Division’s operational and strategic topics.

• Coordinating actions and teams to ensure the achievement of Division objectives.

 • Monitoring timelines and ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across other IPTO Divisions.

• Communicating with external partners, consultants and contractors for project‑related matters.

• Completing special projects assigned by the Director.

• Participating in the design of new projects, with emphasis on the digitalization of maintenance processes.

• Coordinating actions related to fault restoration across the Transmission System.

• Monitoring the achievement of Division targets and KPIs.

• Participating in working groups and cross‑functional initiatives.

About the Division

The Transmission System Maintenance Division is responsible for:

• Maintenance and technical support of the Interconnected Transmission System.

• Commissioning and acceptance of new Transmission System projects.

 • Design and execution of small‑scale works, reconstructions, urgent improvements and damage restoration.

• Laboratory and field measurements and testing of electromechanical equipment.

• Operation of the Digital Maintenance Center.

• Installation of online monitoring systems for critical equipment.

 • Tracking technological developments in maintenance, with emphasis on digital tools (drones, online monitoring).

 • Fault restoration across the Transmission System.

What we are looking for

Profile 1

Required:

 • Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Excellent command of the English language.

Desirable:

• Master’s or PhD in Energy‑related fields.

 • Understanding of the Electrical Power System.

• Experience in design/supervision/project management of electrical energy projects.

Profile 2

Required:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or another engineering discipline.

• Excellent command of the English language.

Desirable:

 • Master’s or PhD in Energy, Project Management or related fields.

• Understanding of the Electrical Power System.

 • Experience in design/supervision/project management of electromechanical projects.
