The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) promotes innovation aiming at the efficient and green electricity supply of the country by interconnecting every part of Greece, while remaining constantly devoted to its vision for the energy transformation of the country. In the context of its continuous development, it is looking for a Social Media Manager to support its team, located at the company's headquarters in Athens.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our company’s communications objectives and corporate brand.
- Identify growth opportunities across platforms and propose creative, data-driven initiatives.
- Stay ahead of social trends, technologies, and best practices to keep our company’s digital presence relevant and impactful.
🔹 Content Creation & Management
- Plan, write, and schedule content for all platforms in Greek and English, including posts, graphics, videos, and infographics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (designers, videographers, agencies) to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
- Ensure all social media content supports corporate messaging and aligns with IPTO’s tone of voice and communication standards.
🔹 Engagement & Community Building
- Monitor and manage social media communities, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and relevant industry communities.
- Support internal and external campaigns through social amplification and real-time engagement.
🔹 Analytics & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze engagement data to optimize content strategy.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for growth.
- Use findings to refine content, campaign targeting, and posting schedules.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional experience in managing social media accounts for a brand, preferably in a corporate, B2B, or regulated environment
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and content creation across multiple platforms
- Excellent writing skills both in Greek and English
- Proficient in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)
- Strong visual sense and ability to brief and collaborate with creative teams on multimedia content
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and digitally savvy with a passion for storytelling and engagement
