Sustainability / ESG Consultant | Athens (Ad Code: ESG1AT)

We are now looking for a Sustainability / ESG Consultant to join our team in Athens and support key activities related to sustainability reporting, regulatory compliance and the implementation of the Group’s ESG strategy.
Your role in the team
You will be part of the team responsible for developing, monitoring and implementing the Group’s sustainability framework. Your work will contribute directly to transparent reporting, regulatory alignment and the integration of ESG principles across the organization.
What you will be working on
• Supporting the preparation of the annual Sustainability Report in line with national and international sustainability reporting standards (e.g., ESRS, GRI, TCFD recommendations, ATHEX ESG Index).
• Tracking and monitoring greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3) in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring IPTO’s compliance with new national and European sustainability‑related Directives and Regulations (e.g., EU Taxonomy).
• Systematically monitoring and updating the indicators included in the IPTO Group’s Sustainability Report.
• Supporting the implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy, including goal‑setting and coordination with other IPTO Departments.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Science or Economics.
• At least 2 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting and/or climate‑related topics.
• Very good written and oral communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the legal/regulatory framework, international standards and best practices in ESG.
